Conjecture

On human agency, the two traps are enfeeblement (people kept comfortable but without voice, stake or role, drifting into gradual disempowerment) and refusal (blocking capability, so those who refused fall behind and others decide); the corridor is participation, in which people, alongside agents, keep contributing, owning and checking. Good coexistence under minds, as in the Culture, sits at the edge of this corridor and stays inside it only while voice and exit are real.
