EmpiricalRequires evidence

Measured and reported 2026-09-28 across six public coding-agent harnesses: five of them, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Open Code and Grok Build, let an agent modify or even delete its own execution traces without triggering any guardrail, either by the model itself or by an external attacker via prompt injection. The single exception, Muse Code, relies on a built-in skill that reminds the agent that traces cannot be tampered with, which is an instruction to the measured party rather than a restriction on the write path.
