One success case fits Bostrom's definition of a singleton: a species singleton, in which humanity and its AIs coordinate as one governed agency that solves global coordination problems through enforceable shared norms, while many minds keep their own judgement inside it. The danger is not singleton-grade coordination but a singleton that is one agent with no outside correction.
