Conjecture

Our institutions are good at the last problem. Part I: economic solutions and societal systems evolve to address the historical problems people faced, so our systems are substantially better adapted to treating material scarcity or broken bones than problems of excess and depression, and are consequently doing an extremely poor job on them. This is the organisational threshold claim applied to whole institutions rather than firms, and Part I makes it the second reason to expect an inflection point that reorganises industries and redistributes value.
