EmpiricalRequires evidence

Machines now do the moderating that kept argument maps small. A language model can split a post into its separate points, label each one and file it in the right place in the map, about 90% accurately in Klein's latest work, a job that used to need a human moderator talking to each author. That is the cost that held argument maps back, and it has collapsed.

Our more recent work, which has benefited from better prompt engineering as well as improved LLMs, is now roughly 90% accurate, which we consider high enough to put in front of users in real-world engagements.

In previous work we used human moderators to check submitted posts for such problems and, through a dialog with the author, correct them, before the posts were published to the map for all to see.
