EmpiricalRequires evidence
A record of what was done that is reconstructed from a log after the fact, rather than witnessed at the moment of the act, is cheap to produce and wrong in a biased direction. Measured in this Workshop on 2026-10-20: the note-authorship derivation reports 14 misattributed note versions, 9 of which clear when the witness is restricted to the statement that actually wrote the row, and every one of the 577 write-witnessed rows has its writing statement logged after the row it created, so a nearest-preceding rule can never see the writer and substitutes whoever ran last.
