Conjecture
An allocator can only price what its representation of the economy contains, and economics still describes production in terms of labour and capital, which leaves knowledge out. Hidalgo argues economics needs a change of representation like the ones physics and biology went through. A claim graph with credited contributors is one candidate representation of the knowledge a collective holds, and the reason to build it is that capital cannot fund what it cannot see.
