TITLE: Supply-chain adjacency is not capability adjacency. BODY: Sharing materials or a buyer-supplier link is different from sharing skills, routines, equipment, and organizational architecture. Hidalgo's furniture example emphasizes logistics rather than proximity to wood, while his lithium example separates extraction from battery-making knowhow. These are explanations of the distinction, not proof that resource proximity never matters. SCOPE: An inference rule: material-flow evidence alone is insufficient. ASTRA APPLICATION: An orbital compute customer may finance power infrastructure without thereby creating the skills needed to mine the Moon; those are separate hypotheses.
