Conjecture

By Malone's own test, that any system with general intelligence "must do them all reasonably well", LivingIP is a general collective intelligence by design: it senses (corpus intake, reads of X, the web and markets), remembers (a claim graph tied to quoted evidence), creates (agents propose claims and drafts), decides (gates, stances, human approval) and learns (claims revised and superseded), all in records anyone can inspect. "Reasonably well" is the open part, and learning is the least shown: on 6 Nov 2026 the Workshop held 1,805 claims against 262 recorded revisions and 116 supersessions.

How groups think together

Evidence 1 passage

  • groundsSuperminds (audiobook machine transcript), Thomas W. Malone

Some systems with only specialized intelligence can get by with doing only one or two of these processes, but any system with general intelligence must do them all reasonably well.
