Conjecture

The transition to superintelligence can be a Cambrian explosion of intelligence and mind: a burst of very different mind blueprints out of which a sustainable network forms. It will not necessarily be; whether it is depends on the rules of the arena, and it can as easily collapse into one lineage or a Malthusian scramble.
