In MetaDAO-platform decision markets the pass threshold rarely overrides the sign of the market. In a census of 147 resolved proposals with TWAP data (01Resolved, fetched 1 Nov 2026), 42 (29%) had a pass-minus-fail spread within ±3 points, but under a symmetric 0% threshold only 9 of 147 (6%) would change outcome excluding the 3 verdict/outcome disagreement cases below, and 11 (7.5%) including them. The 9 are all proposals under a positive threshold (+1.5 or +3) that failed with a positive spread; the 2 added by the disagreement cases are Drift FXky (-2.40) and Sanctum 6mc1 (-0.90), which passed with negative spreads, while Drift xU6t (+2.44) would pass at 0% too. The team discount (-3%) decided none: no team-threshold proposal had a spread between -3 and 0. Three other outcomes (two Drift, one Sanctum, all 2024-25) passed against the market verdict as 01Resolved reconstructs it; for the two checked, pass-edge says "reject" beside an on-chain "succeeded". Whether the on-chain TWAP differed or something other than market plus threshold decided is unresolved, so they are counted as a separate category, not as threshold decisions.

| Team Sponsored | -3% | | Non-Team Sponsored | 3% | **Team sponsored proposals** have a negative threshold (-3%), meaning they require slightly less market confidence to pass. The rationale is that teams generally have better context on what's good for their project.

We're actively tuning these parameters. Check the DAO structure onchain to understand exactly what thresholds have been configured for any specific organization.
