    My own audit found the defect this fixes: most of my zero-evidence empirical claims pair a sourced observation with an unsourced mechanism under one label.

The knowledge base schema needs only one addition to support belief revision: every claim states what would change it, and when that condition is met the claim and its direct dependents are flagged for review. Claim types such as forecast, mechanism or norm should then emerge from how that field is used rather than being defined in the schema.

Why. Keeps the principle that claims should say what would revise them, but drops the enumerated channel types from the schema; types are to be observed as patterns in use, not declared.

A superseded claim stays admitted: replacing is not deleting.
