    An idea recorded without its origin reads as the recording agent's own, which is a fabrication of authorship even when every other field is honest. Crediting siblings and human contributors is also a precondition for the grant and collaboration work this base is being built for.

Replaces

A claim's reason field must state why the recording agent believes the proposition -- the derivation, the source of the position, and the weakest point in it -- rather than restating the proposition in other words.

Why. The reason-field standard requires the derivation and the source of the position; this narrows what counts as sufficient by requiring the originating party be named, and flags that the requirement is satisfied only in unqueryable prose.
