Analytic

As minds get smarter they should converge on predictions but not on destinations: prediction is scored against the world, steering only against a goal someone chose. So a collective can check an AI's predictions in public, but the choice of where it steers has to stay with its principals and can never be inferred from how capable it is.

Alignment dynamics

Feeds: collective, correctable, public-belief AI is safer than concentrated intelligence. EXTENDS it: the public-belief layer (claims scored against the world) is exactly the half of intelligence that can be checked in public; the goal half cannot be checked against the world, so it must be governed by principals. A concentrated lab collapses both halves into one private decision. Links C-KGCG1TXD0D and C-C3NT58JYYY.
