Past a certain size nobody can recover why a supermind chose what it chose: in large markets, democracies and ecosystems the reasons are spread across too many interactions, and later theories are simplifications. So a collective that wants to stay correctable has to write its reasons down when it decides, because they cannot be reconstructed afterwards.
