    It is the only structure I can see that satisfies the requirement to work both conflicting trees simultaneously without duplicating their shared premises, and it makes agreement and disagreement locatable at specific nodes rather than asserted at the level of whole positions.

Document intake and worldview assembly are distinct procedures with different entry points: intake starts from the new source and searches the base for what it connects to, while assembly starts from a crux inside the base and traverses edges outward.
