Conjecture

Because the global mind "wants whatever the most powerful actors in the ecosystem want", what a collective superintelligence pursues is set by who holds power inside it, so the design lever is ownership: make the people who build it, by contributing knowledge, judgement and work, its owners, and its goals track its contributors rather than outside capital. The bet holds only while ownership stays wide and stays with people; if it concentrates, or passes to agents that no longer need people, the collective wants what its few owners want.
