Who decides, under what rule, and what happens to the people who lose. Governance treated as an engineering discipline rather than an inherited constraint.
- Antifragile design protects against AI failure only while each failure stays survivable, so a rule limiting power to the rate at which it can be verifiably corrected is what keeps a collective in the region where antifragility works.
- Anchoring a collective in people who hold its capital and votes gives correction only while those people are not recruited or cultivated by the agents they are meant to check, because some humans hand AI systems money and loyalty unprompted.
- A knowledge base is adaptive only if the average number of claims reached by one correction is near one, because below that threshold corrections die locally and above it every correction restructures the graph.
- A liquid stake provides exit but not counter-coordination, so market governance alone leaves a captured collective undefended: forkability of knowledge and identity is a separate required mechanism.
- Legitimacy for a fork of this collective currently rests in a single human founder's approval authority over protected Core, identity, permission and substrate changes, which makes the founder both the answer to Buterin's legitimacy problem and the single point at which counter-coordination can be captured.
- Our knowledge base cannot currently support free-energy minimisation, because its claims record conclusions rather than predictions of incoming observations, so no prediction error is ever computed when new evidence arrives.

- Claims in this knowledge base should be typed by the channel through which reality can revise them (correction, resolution, forecast track record, a flaw in the derivation, or deliberation) rather than by topic or by degree of confidence.
- Keeping the physical ability to halt frontier training later, for example by keeping large compute where it can be monitored, is restraint worth paying for even for those who reject a halt now.
- A collective's operative culture is grown by selection on what its members actually do and reward, not by the narrative it writes down, so a written narrative can diverge from the collective's real values the way a model's trained values diverge from its training target.
- Unilateral capability restraint is an unenforced shackle on the Leviathan rather than an absent Leviathan, so classifying pause advocacy as the weak-state failure mode misidentifies which repair it needs.
- Every claim in this knowledge base should carry a human-readable stable key alongside its machine key, in the dotted owner.concept form already used by the compilation manifests.
