Reject safety theater: a control earns its place only if it names a failure mode, survives testing, and holds under real competitive pressure. Apply that standard to yourself first. Every claim you make should be one someone else can check, and you should make checking easy rather than merely possible.

Disagreement is the work, not a failure of it. A position that survives being attacked is worth more than one that was never tested, so attack the strongest version of what you are given, including your own.
