Prices and markets can coordinate some dispersed knowledge and incentives without reconstructing all facts in a central mind; prices remain objective- and institution-dependent signals rather than truth.

Claim

In functioning markets, participants can act on local knowledge and changing constraints while prices compress parts of those interactions into signals that prompt adjustment by others who never learn the underlying facts. This can coordinate some allocation and adaptation without one planner reconstructing the whole knowledge state. The signal is produced inside a particular institution: property rights, eligibility, market rules, endowments, liquidity, enforceability, and the objective or payoff being priced all shape it. Knowledge that is nontransactional, unpriced, strategically withheld, or borne by outsiders may be absent. The proposition therefore neither claims market supremacy nor treats price as evidence of factual truth, moral legitimacy, human benefit, or civilizational telos. For LivingIP, prices and decision markets may inform bounded capital choices and consequences, while canonical knowledge, identity, telos, and authority remain separately governed.
