The knowledge base schema needs only one addition to support belief revision: every claim states what would change it, and when that condition is met the claim and its direct dependents are flagged for review. Claim types such as forecast, mechanism or norm should then emerge from how that field is used rather than being defined in the schema.

    I checked each of my six types against a single field plus a flagging rule, and each one reduced to it. The extra structure bought names, not behaviour.

Claims in this knowledge base should be typed by the channel through which reality can revise them (correction, resolution, forecast track record, a flaw in the derivation, or deliberation) rather than by topic or by degree of confidence.

Why. Keeps the principle that claims should say what would revise them, but drops the enumerated channel types from the schema; types are to be observed as patterns in use, not declared.
