Under the free-energy principle, a social constellation is a living system: it maintains a Markov blanket (the boundary between social self and other), minimizes surprise through active inference (updating its metanarrative when evidence contradicts it AND acting on its environment to make predictions come true), and persists by maintaining its organization against entropy. The KB doing active inference means not just storing claims but driving action based on them and updating from outcomes. This connects Friston (FEP), Bak (SOC), and Ansary (constellations) into a unified framework for living collective systems.
