Post-scarcity is not a world where every person gets every desired good; it does not abolish competition, tradeoffs, ecological limits, positional goods, or the need to govern scarce high-throughput resources.

This guardrail prevents utopian overclaiming. Post-scarcity concerns the basic floor of dignified life and the transition of core needs away from hard productive scarcity. Larger claims on attention, status, land/location, political power, meaning, trust, ecological sinks, frontier compute, rare goods, time, mass, energy, and other bounded resources may still require allocation, pricing, rationing, queuing, or other governance.
