Post-scarcity is the binding-constraint shift from not enough to not accessible, resilient, or well-governed enough for the core conditions of dignified life.

Post-scarcity does not mean the end of all scarcity. It names a transition in which the necessities of dignified life — food, water, shelter, energy, sanitation, healthcare, education, communication, basic material goods, and the infrastructure required for agency and participation — become cheap, scalable, and resilient enough to provide broadly. In that transition, deprivation increasingly reflects failures of access, deployment, governance, rights, infrastructure, resilience, exclusion, or power rather than unavoidable material impossibility. This is uneven by domain and geography; it does not imply post-scarcity has already arrived globally.
